We, at the M.P.Birla Institute of Fundamental Research, Bangalore are
planning to conduct advance courses in the following topics.

1. Solar Astronomy ............(by Dr.K.B.Ramesh)
2. Radio Astronomy ...........(by Prof. K.R.Subramanian)
3. Astrobiology ..................(by Prof. C.Sivaram)
4. Astrochemistry ..............(by Prof. C.Sivaram)

Each of these courses will be covered in 18 sessions (duration of each
session is 90 minutes).

The classes will be conducted as week-end classes and evening classes
during the months of February and March 2008.

The syllabus of each course will be at M.Sc. level.Even B.Sc Students can also apply

My name is Diwakar . I am new to BAS. I would want to know where in Bangalore we would get good Astronomical telescope ?

Though i have interest in Astronomy since childhood days i have not been to get hold of a good telescope / Binoculars/

Any suggestion is welcome .!
