July ' 08 - BAS monthly meet
There will be a BAS members' meet for the July month, at our regular venue Cubbon Park on Sunday the 13th.
Agenda includes the general meetup with members. Probable new topics include discussion about steps to preserve light pollution at Hosahalli, invitation of a professional to give a presentation, locations for future sky-observing trips etc.
I would like to also present my newly purchased astronomical equipment for our future BAS observing trips - a Celestron SkyMaster 20x80 big astro binocular! Expecting to have a good turn up. Bring your friends interested in astronomy along.

Behind the main red building of City Central Library, and beside the Indira Priyadarshini Children's Library, in the main circular park.
Look for the huge BAS banner which will be put up visibly on the tree.
Time: 1 pm - 3 pm (it can even continue unofficially later on)

It looks like there's going to be lesser administrative discussion happening, with a few core members missing. In any case, do discuss some astronomy and have fun. It'd be a good opportunity for BAS members to meet and talk.
