Advanced Course in Astronomy by M.P.Birla Institute of Fundamental Research
We, at the M.P.Birla Institute of Fundamental Research, Bangalore are
planning to conduct advance courses in the following topics.
1. Solar Astronomy ............(by Dr.K.B.Ramesh)
2. Radio Astronomy ...........(by Prof. K.R.Subramanian)
3. Astrobiology ..................(by Prof. C.Sivaram)
4. Astrochemistry ..............(by Prof. C.Sivaram)
Each of these courses will be covered in 18 sessions (duration of each
session is 90 minutes).
The classes will be conducted as week-end classes and evening classes
during the months of February and March 2008.
The syllabus of each course will be at M.Sc. level.Even B.Sc Students can also apply
Certificates with grades will be awarded after the successful
completion of each course.

i think that the level of difficulty of astronomy is the same with that of biology or science. after reading the kinds of advanced courses in astronomy, it's like i'm having a nosebleed soon! solar power companies should study this too.
For those who love to see and find things in the sky an advanced course in Astronomy is just the thing to kick start a wonderful career. Though for beginners its always good to get started with a basic course and then move up to higher ones.
